Interaction Information:
Comment | MIP-T3 (microtubule-interacting protein associated with TRAF3) is a microtubule-interacting protein that evolutionarily conserved from worms to humans. To get insight into the functions of MIP-T3, MIP-T3 interacting proteins were identified by immunoprecipitation in human embryonic kidney 293 cells and MS analysis. The largest group of MIP-T3 interacting proteins is involved in cytoskeletal protein (37%). Significant numbers of MIP-T3 targets are also implicated in chaperone (23%), nucleic acid binding (10%) and kinase (8%), etc. indicating that MIP-T3 plays diverse cellular functions and is involved in widespread biological processes. |
