The expression levels of miR-146a, miR-155, miR-132, and miR-16 were 2.8-, 1.6-, 4.2-, and 3.4-fold higher, respectively, in monocytes than in lymphocytes.
Although miR-146a expression is increased in RA patients, levels of the two established miR-146a targets TRAF6 and IRAK-1 in RA patients are similar to those in control individuals.
