Comment The authors showed that physiological concentrations of the human host defense peptide cathelicidin LL-37 (CAMP) not only affected the expression of various genes which are involved in quorum sensing cascades and virulence phenotype of P. aeruginosa, but was also able to directly enhance the secretion of toxic metabolites pyocyanin, elastase, PQS and HC.
