Comment Invasive P. aeruginosa isolates (strain 6294, PAK, PAO1) induced the formation of membrane blebs in multiple epithelial cell types. These cell types include human telomerase-immortalized corneal epithelial cells (hTCEpi), primary cultured rabbit corneal epithelial cells, simian virus 40-transformed rabbit corneal epithelial cells and human alveolar epithelial cells (A549 cells).
