Comment Unlike NOX2(-/-) (CYBB-/-) mice, knockdown of NOX4 inhibited P. aeruginosa-induced pulmonary permeability as evidenced by BAL (bronchoalveolar lavage) fluids cell count and protein concentration. On the contrary, knockdown of NOX4 had no effects on IL-6, TNF-alpha and H2O2 in BAL fluids.
