Comment The iminosugar miglustat and amitriptyline, a tricyclic antidepressant exert an anti-inflammatory effect in CF bronchial cell lines. The pretreatment of IB3-1 cells with miglustat or amitriptyline reduced the expression of many genes involved in inflammatory response, up-regulated by P. aeruginosa.
