Interaction Information:

Comment P. aeruginosa chronic infections are a major burden and cause of mortality in people suffering from cystic fibrosis (CF). In the CF lungs, the bacteria establish as a biofilm, which is difficult to eradicate by the immune system or antibiotic therapy. Previous reports suggest that P. aeruginosa chronic infections are associated with expression of the type VI secretion system (T6SS).
