Comment In P. aeruginosa, a pair of sensor kinases, RetS and LadS, regulates the expression of the HSI-1 T6SS gene cluster. T3SS and T6SS are inversely regulated. RetS is an activator of the expression of T3SS genes but represses genes involved in biofilm formation and T6SS expression. LadS has reciprocal effects.
